It is equipped with a mega top which has excellent
operability and sensitivity. It also has the "X torque" structure
which dramatically improves the operability of the rod. It has lightweight
design with slender blanks with multi-point support which helps if any pressure
is applied.
The .82 is a balance of operability and flexibility to
catch the fish smoothly. If you want to capture a big fish like Nameta you will
need the 82-H model which can handle the fight of moderate sized fishes. For really
big ones you need to use the 91-h. With this you can control even the most
aggressive of fishes.

Mega-Top is the name of the technology which Daiwa used.
The difference between the Mega-Top and other regular carbon based resin is
that the regular ones tend to give in to stress and pressure. The Mega-Top is
1.5 times stronger of that and therefore will not easily yield. The carbon
fibers are uniformly dispersed by individual variation. It also has higher
flexibility that the regular fiber resin.
