For spinnerbaits a 5 ½-foot medium heavy to heavy action pistol-grip casting rod for putting spinnerbaits in tight places would be best.

For crankbaits it would be best to have 2 7ft rods. One for deep-running baits and another for shallow-running baits.  Both of the rods should bend equally from tip to butt.

For flipping the 7ft flipping rod is the best. It has enough power for taking out big moving fishes out of thick stuff. It also enables you to reach tight places away from your boat.
